Product Samples: PSPrint

Recently, I ordered some samples from a lovely company called PSPrint. These samples are free, click the link at the bottom of the post to order your own.

Anyways, the sample kit included the following:

• A booklet with 18 sample weights and styles
• Four sample business cards
• Two postcards
• A folded poster with information about colors, fonts, and more.

Of course, because this wasn't a legit order, it would be unfair for me to offer a price or value statement, so I'll just skip straight to quality.

Quality

Overall, the quality of the prints was fabulous. Here is a scan of a postcard (at 1200DPI)

As you can see, the quality is stupendous. The lines match up just where they should, and all is well, especially considering the scan is about 12 times larger than real life.

Paper Thickness

The papers vary immensely in thickness and feel, so I'll just put a list of my favorites:

1. Velvet Cover
2. 14-pt Gloss Cove
3. 100lb Gloss Text
4. 12pt UV-Coated Gloss Cover
5. 14pt AQ-Coated Gloss Stock
6. Clear Polyester UV-Coated Sticker Paper

Summary

PSPrint has some great quality prints, but from what I've seen, not great prices. However, the quality is great enough that you may be able to justify spending more. They have a wide range of print products, but no promotional products (tee-shirts, mugs, the works). I got my sample kit in a matter of  4 days (only 2 business days), so they mean business when they ship your products.
